Wen in on a Tuesday morning so it was lovely and quiet. Sat by the window, had a nice latte and just worked on my laptop. I imagine in tourist season this place gets rammed because it is quite small, but during the time I went, it was amazing

We stopped in for brunch on the last fay of our holiday in the area. I had The Bagel - which was amazing! Everyone enjoyed all of their food, including all 3 of the kids. The guy who served us was really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Lovely toasties & and a great dog friendly spot. Sadly the menu and service have gone down hill, especially the vegan options. Would love to see their homemade kimchi and vegan cakes back again, and it return to the friendly atmosphere we used to so value!

The food was fine, I had a burger and my partner had a chicken and feta sandwich. The staff were fine, and the owner/manager was horrible. He was more interested in speaking with his friends than actually serving his customers. When he dropped our food off, he walked away while I was mid question, I was looking straight at him, and he simply ignored me. For a high price of £30 for lunch, I expect at least some common courtesy. If it wasn't for the other staff, this would be a 1 star review. I won't be back again!

Great little spot. We went in due to my friend rating the coffee. Not only was the coffee fantastic, the food was also excellent. Great brunch options. I had the french toast and it hit the spot. The dude working was super friendly and he chatted coffee with us for a good while. He seemed passionate about supporting ethical coffee suppliers. Exactly what you want from a local cafe. Great coffee, tasty food and friendly staff.

Tried the mungo sandwich, and it is the best grilled sandwich I have had so far. I will be returning despite loving many hours away. The waitress was lovely too.

Super delicious and welcoming place to stop for a quick lunch. Grilled sandwiches might be some of the best in Scotland, staff were kind and service was impeccable. 10/10 all around.

Cute spot with excellent coffee, good tea selection, and hearty food. I had the homemade soup (mushroom and walnut) with grilled cheese and it was just delicious.

The staff were lovely and certainly knew their stuff about coffee and food. They were very coeliac aware and accommodating and cooked GF bread separately which is great. Their homemade coffee was so good and had a fruity flavour and their food delicious. A must stop if you are visiting Banchory!!

Great wee stopover passing through. Decent coffee and tea with a side hustle of rather deluciousable funcee peeces 😎. Service impeccable from the barista. ☕🍰😁 This is the 'PictHare' from around the corner in Scott Skinner Square 😉 in Bunchory'.
